Fantastic Fourth of July Celebration

I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July celebration . Our family sure did! We had a small party at our house- decorated with America's Flag! In attendance were Sally and Art, Richard, Joe and our dogsitting buddies Joe and Shug along with Richards dog, Hubba! What fun we had. Our menu was really yummy - everyone contributed their favorites!

Appetizers: Shrimp, Dill Dip and vegies; chips and salsa

Lunch: Hamburgers and hot dogs,Floyd's baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, Southwestern Quinoa Salad, fruit salad and chips

For dessert we had- A Fourth of July cake and fresh raspberry chiffon pie!!

We ended up eating inside because it was just to hot to sit out on the deck (90+ degrees).

The whole weekend has been wonderful for me- from going to see Sex and the City ll with Traci, Lisa and Jean, to travelling to the Kalamazoo Farmers Market to stock up for the party, hanging with the family! Today and I getting organized to travel to Massachusetts for David's baseball camp . We leave Thursday morning, bright and early.
