Big weekend Plans!

This weekend my good friends; Traci, Lisa and Jody and I are going to Memory Makers Retreat (http://www.memorymakersretreat.com/ )in Marcelles,Mi! Shelli and Sally treat us like queens- lots of cropping space, comfy beds, great food, bathrooms equipped for Queens and LOTS OF FUN! Traci, Lisa and I went there in December and we are ready to go again!! I'll post photos after we get back!

King Arthur Flour Rocks!

I can't believe that I haven't posted this before! Last month King Arthur Flour , made in my favorite state- Vermont! They came to Kalamazoo to do some baking demonstrations at the Fetzer Center. The Cabot ladies were so funny, informative and yes, educational. We learned how to make a perfect pie dough and a chocolate tart. There were at least 100 people there. The also showcased my favorite cheese- Cabot from Vermont!

It was a very inspiring day but I must admit, I have not made a pie yet.

I have been to the Cabot cheese headquarters and also the King Arthur Welcome Center (they are expanding). Really fun!

Anna Maria Island, Florida

Wouldn't be nice to be at the beach today, soaking in the Florida sun???? Well, here we are in Michigan -kinda dreary today but the hope of spring is here- I am hearing robins!

I keep thinking that today is March 1st and that there is a new list of To -Do's including- getting ready for the baseball season (taking photos of the spirit wear for the order forms); getting David ready for ACT/MME; final list of senior year classes; getting ready for my I Scrap Class that starts March 8 and prepping for my friends weekend away at Memory Makers Retreat in Marcellus! Yeah, life is fun!!!

Fanciful Flowers make me happy!

Don't these paper flowers just make you so happy!! They sure do it to me- in fact, I think that I will make them tonight. I can use them for decoration in my crafting room OR I can use them on scrapbook pages- don't you think that they are so cute?? I am super excited because tomorrow I am going to Comstock's Grad Bash Crop with my friends Traci, Dona and Anne Marie(I think) . I think that this will be my 3rd or 4th year going. The organizers of this event are incredible!!! Can't wait for 8 am! Happy Weekend all!
